BFHD Case Count Dashboard
New Cases – Date the test results are assigned to the counties and reported to the public. Adding 14 days of New Cases and accounting for the population will NOT give you the Case Rate.
Case Rate per 100K – New cases per 100K over 14 days by date of specimen collection (test date), NOT day it is reported.

Metrics and Details
It can take several weeks for the Health District to receive and reconcile community members’ death information due to the reporting processes with the associated medical facility, Coroner’s office or Vital Records departments issuing and releasing the death certificate. Deaths reported each week do not necessarily represent deaths occuring that week.
